DIY Water Marble Nails

DIY Water Marble Nails

I always see these super cute nails everywhere online, and have been meaning to try them. I decided to show you guys the outcome of mine, with simpler instructions(I think!) than other websites and blogs provide.

Supplies:
✄Assorted colored nail polishes (no shimmer or glitter, just plain cream polish)
✄Clear top coat polish
✄Mini Dixi cup
✄Paper towel
✄Nail Polish Remover or Lotion
✄Toothpick

First, paint your nails in one of your nail polishes. This way your marbling will show up better on top of a base color. After it has dried, apply lotion around the nail and finger, if you want o avoid using nail polish remover on your skin.

Drip your nail polish into a cup of water in any order, mind just happened to be onto of each other. They should float to the surface. If they dissolve outward then the nail polish may need to be shaken up, or it may be too old and watery. It still works fine enough, though.
Use the toothpick to swirl the nail polishes into a marbled design.
Dip your finger into the cup to cover the nail with polish. When you pull it out you will be astonished by the outcome. Continue dipping a couple more nails into the nail polish. After dipping three fingers, repeat steps 1-3 with a new up of water. Repeat until all nails are finished.
Now apply the top coat onto to just the nail, not the skin. If you chose to put lotion around the nail, wash off after the nail polish has dried. If you did not apply lotion, use a q-tip and nail polish remover to take off the excess nail polish.
TADA! Comment on how your nails turned out!
